German WWII Era Paperweight-This is an intriguing paper weight from the F. Hoffstatter Company of Berlin. This company made medals and badges. We are unable to exactly date this item. The paperweight shows a relief of a pig holding a proclamation written in German. The proclamation has some discoloration on it. Surrounding the edges of the paperweight are the words Medals, Badge, Plaque and the name of the company F. Hoffstatter at the bottom, with the dates 1918 when they were established. This is a neat little advertising plaque. The plaque sits atop a round marble base. There is white felt on the bottom. Other than the few spots of discoloration this paperweight is in very good condition.
